The Provisioning Manager maintains an internal database of equipment access specifications or integrates seamlessly with home grown or other commercially available lab equipment management systems. The Provisioning Manager reduces the time required to setup complex equipment provisioning, provides equipment test readiness verification, capture existing provisioning specifications for later reuse, can reconcile database information regarding equipment and their actual state, and can return lab equipment to known states streamlining next usage scenarios. The Configuration Manager can scale to support the simultaneous configuration of dozens of computers. The Configuration Manager maintains an internal database of computer access specifications or integrates seamlessly with home grown or other commercially available lab equipment management systems. The Configuration Manager reduces the time required to load or save complete disk images on computers. The Configuration Manager is completely transparent to the computer being managed. This means that there is no software agent installed on the computer to be configured. Disk images can be stored on commercially available SAN or LAN based arrays.
